Dinner after work with my boyf. My work place is at Changi Business Park, so you can imagine what time it was when we arrived at Queenstown MRT. Most of the stalls were closed but we found this stall which looks pretty good. Can’t remember the stall name, but it goes something like “Hokkien Mee, Char Kway Teow, Orh Lua” or something like that.
No kidding! They named the stall what it sells.
We had Char Kway Teow, which was good! π Thumbs up for this.
You can see that the kway teow isn’t too dry, yet not too oily. Lots of tau gay (beansprouts), egg, lup cheong (Chinese sausage), and hum (cockles)!
However, the Orh Lua pales very much in comparison.
Way too much starchy lumps, and not enough eggs & oyster. And the starchy lumps were really terrible, tasted abit like glutinous rice.
Desserts was the best part because we had good ol’ Ice Kachang! The boyf added (extra) sweet corn just because I love them. Aww.
This was from Mei Le Yuan (ηΎδΉε). I like how desserts here are so afforable & yummy!
